Invisible Children’s Face to Face Tour Comes to NSU to Raise Awareness of Plight of Child Soldiers in Uganda – Oct. 7

The Invisible Children Face to Face Tour will be coming to Nova Southeastern University (NSU) on Thursday, Oct. 7 from 12 to 1 p.m. to help raise awareness about children who are abducted and forced to fight as soldiers in the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), a rebel group currently terrorizing central east Africa.


Child Soldiers in Northern Uganda Topic of Forum at NSU

The documentary film Invisible Children: Rough Cut, which examined the plight of children in northern Uganda abducted and forced into war, and a discussion on the issue will be featured at Nova Southeastern University on Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.

The free, public event will be held in the performing arts theatre in the Don Taft University Center on NSU’s main campus at 3301 College Ave.
