Florida Senate President Jeff Atwater encourages NSU health profession graduates to excel

Florida Senate President Jeff Atwater (R-North Palm Beach) encouraged Nova Southeastern University Health Professions Division graduates to excel during his commencement speech on Sunday, Aug. 30.

The graduates, who were from NSU’s College of Allied Health and Nursing, earned degrees in health programs such as nursing, physician assistant, anesthesiologist assistant, vascular sonography, audiology, occupational therapy and online health sciences. A total of 639 graduates had their degrees conferred.


Florida Senate President Jeff Atwater to speak at NSU Commencement

Florida Senate President Jeff Atwater (R-North Palm Beach) will be the keynote speaker at Nova Southeastern University’s Health Profession Division’s commencement on Sunday, Aug. 30.

The 2 p.m. ceremony will be held at Don Taft University Center, located at NSU’s Davie campus. Graduating students come from health programs such as nursing, physician assistant, anesthesiologist assistant, vascular sonography, audiology, occupational therapy and online health sciences.
