NSU Medical School Expands Medical Residencies Throughout South Florida

Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine has expanded medical residency programs throughout South Florida to address the shortage of doctors.

South Florida, like the rest of the nation, is experiencing a shortage of physicians because the number of doctors coming out of medical residency programs has not kept up with the demands of an aging population that requires more health care.
