The men’s and women’s Nova Southeastern swimming and diving teams concluded their first event of the 2011-12 season, competing in the All-Florida Invitational against Division I and Division II opponents.

The men’s team finished fourth overall with 507 points and the women’s team finished seventh with 141 points. The host, University of Florida won both the men’s and women’s tournaments with 1,273 points and 1,141.5 points, respectively.

“I am very pleased with our performances this weekend. Over the course of a three day meet, similar to SSC’s and NCAA’s, we showed that we can continue to get better and perform at a high level against some of the best teams in the country.” said head coach Hollie Bonewit-Cron. “With that being said, we will continue to work hard in the pool and make some changes to continue this progress. I look forward to seeing our growth this season.” Click here to read the complete release.
