The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences hosted a dual induction ceremony on Apr. 24 to recognize undergraduate students joining Lambda Pi Eta and Sigma Tau Alpha, the national honor societies for Communication Studies and English, respectively.

“This is a deserved and earned recognition,” said Don Rosenblum, Ph.D., dean of the college, congratulating the students at the ceremony. Rosenblum also acknowledged the numerous faculty, friends, and family members who have supported the students and have aided in their academic success.

Leading the inductions were current student members from each honor society, as well as the faculty advisers. Megan Fitzgerald, Ph.D., assistant professor in the college, inducted students into Lambda Pi Eta, assisted by Chetachi Egwu, Ph.D., assistant professor in the college.
