Students from NSU College of Pharmacy Present Research at National Meeting
Six NSU College of Pharmacy’s students attended the Annual Conference of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists where they presented posters for their research conducted at NSU. The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) is the largest association for pharmaceutical scientists in U.S. and worldwide. This year the AAPS Annual Conference was held in Denver, CO (November 13-17, 2016).
The posters presented were about epinephrine nanocrystals optimization and atropine sublingual tablet formulation and its permeation enhancement. The students were mentored and trained by Mutasem Rawas-Qalaji, B. Pharm., Ph.D (Associate Professor, College of Pharmacy, and Director of NSU’s Center for Drug Discovery and Development (CD3).
