Student-Athletes Volunteer for Special Olympics

Nova Southeastern University student-athletes spent their Saturday volunteering for the Special Olympics basketball tournament held in the Don Taft University Center. For the second consecutive year more than 100 student-athletes from men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s track and field, men’s and women’s golf, baseball, women’s rowing, volleyball, softball, women’s tennis and swimming and diving volunteered for the event.
NSU’s student-athletes were asked to help and encourage the participants through a series of sports and activities. The event featured an all-county basketball tournament between Nova Southeastern all Broward, Indian River, Martin, Palm Beach and St. Lucie County teams. Complete Release
