Star on the Silver Screen—Enter the Undergraduate Film Festival, Dec. 5
This is an open call from the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences to all aspiring student filmmakers. Directors, editors, cinematographers, actors and actresses, screenplay writers—any NSU undergraduate students interested in developing a short film—are encouraged to apply for the annual Undergraduate Film Festival.
Students of all experience levels are invited to participate. The college will host an informative workshop designed to teach you various facets of filmmaking.

Film Festival Guidelines
Student participants will form groups of four or five crewmembers to create a short film (three to eight minutes) in one of the following genres: narrative, documentary, or avant-garde. Each film must incorporate an aspect of “Good and Evil,” the college’s 2013–2014 academic theme. While non-students may contribute to a film’s creation, each group’s writer/director must be a current NSU undergraduate student.
Completed films will be judged in March and screened during the 2014 Undergraduate Student Symposium, held at NSU on Friday, Apr. 4. Prizes will be awarded for top submissions.
