SSC Basketball Championships to be Hosted at Kissimmee’s Silver Spurs Arena in 2013
The Sunshine State Conference, in partnership with the Central Florida Sports Commission and the Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau, has announced that the 2013 Sunshine State Conference Basketball Championships will be held at the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Fl. The event is scheduled to take place during March 6-10, 2013.
All nine SSC member institutions’ men’s and women’s basketball teams will compete in the SSC Championships. Opening-round games will be conducted on Wednesday, Mar. 6 and the quarterfinals will be held on Thursday, Mar. 7, and Friday, Mar. 8. Both the men’s and women’s semifinals will be played on Saturday, Mar. 9 from which the winners will advance to the championship finals on Sunday, Mar. 10.
