Solstice Benefits Becomes Newest Huizenga Business School Corporate Partner

The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce its new corporate partnership with Solstice Benefits, Inc. Located in Plantation, Solstice Benefits is a multi-faceted benefits provider, offering dental, vision and life benefits plans to groups and individual consumers.

Through this corporate educational partnership, employees from Solstice receive a special discounted tuition rate when they enroll in Huizenga Business School undergraduate or graduate degree programs. The employees are also eligible for a deferred payment plan and tuition reimbursement.

In addition, an internship program was developed as part of the partnership; in the summer of 2011 Solstice began integrating NSU business students into their organizational departments. “The value of mentoring a student, while also creating a collaborative environment for our employees is mutually beneficial. The NSU students are able to share their knowledge while we help polish their skills in a rewarding role,” said Jeanette Weiss, director of Employee and Organizational Development at Solstice Benefits.
