Softball’s Dajia Jones Named SSC Player of the Week
Nova Southeastern University softball player Dajia Jones was chosen as the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Player of the Week after going 9-for-19 with three home runs at the NTC Spring Games last weekend.
Jones (Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.) began the weekend going 1-for-3 with a RBI and run scored in the Sharks’ 7-2 win over Upper Iowa on Friday night. She followed that up with a 2-for-3 performance against Ferris State, which included a two-out solo home run to put NSU on the board.
