Softball Adds Nine for Upcoming Season

Nova Southeastern University softball head coach Lesa Bonee has added nine newcomers to her roster for the upcoming 2013 season. These newcomers, five of whom are freshmen and four junior-college transfers, have an abundance of experience that is expected to translate into greater success for the Sharks.

The Sharks’ freshman roster is highlighted by the addition of Shelby Talon, Liz Spring and Amanda Johnson. Talon is expected to make an immediate impact in the outfield, while Spring and Johnson will provide depth throughout the playing field, as both have the ability to play several positions.
