Six of NSU Publications Win Awards
The Office of Publications recently won five printing awards, and the Office of University Relations and Office of Publication together have won another outstanding journalism award for Horizons magazine. Horizons magazine received second place in the prestigious Trade/Special Interest Publications category of The Sunshine State Awards 2013, given by the Society of Professional Journalists.
NSU’s 2012 Annual Report took third place in the 2013 Gold Ink Awards competition. The university also received four Awards of Excellence from the Florida Print Awards 2013. The award-winning publications were Wellness magazine, Farquhar Forum magazine, Currents newsletter and NSU’s Business Plan 2010–2020: Achieving Vision 2020. These awards reflect NSU’s commitment to excellence and are a credit to all the stakeholders involved from the creation of these publications to their final print production and distribution.
