Sing with the Bossa Nova Chorale, Deadline to sign up: Sept. 9
If you like to sing and want to meet new people who share your passion, the Bossa Nova Chorale is looking for you!
The Bossa Nova Chorale is the premier vocal ensemble of the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts. It’s composed of talented, aspiring vocalists who sing a wide repertoire of songs—such as spirituals, world music, and vocal jazz charts. Opportunities to shine as a soloist are also available. Chorale performances are scheduled throughout the academic year.
Membership in the Bossa Nova Chorale is open each semester to all NSU students, faculty, and staff members. Joining the chorale is a great way to meet new people, learn new music, and develop your musical skills. Undergraduate students who participate can earn 1 academic credit by enrolling in MUSC 3301 DA1 Ensemble I (not required).
For more information or to become a chorale member, contact ensemble director Jennifer Donelson, D.M.A., assistant professor at the college, at (954) 262-7610. The deadline to sign up for fall 2014 is Tuesday, Sept. 9.
