Simpson Competes at World Championships
NSU swimmer Esau Simpson (Sr., St. David’s, Grenada) represented his native Grenada at the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona, Spain. Simpson, competing for his country at the global scale for the second straight summer, swam in the 100m freestyle race. In the third heat of the event, Simpson finished with a time of 53.66 and finished 64th overall among the 90 participants. That time was just short of the national record, which he currently owns.
