SHSS’ The Qualitative Report’s Twitter Account Selected as Number 5 out of 101 Top Twitter Accounts to Follow
The Qualitative Report (TQR)’s Twitter account has been selected by the group, OnlinePhDProgram.org, as number 5 on its top 101 twitter account all those with Ph.D.’s should follow. OnlinePh.D.Program.org conducted considerable research into the Ph.D. community on Twitter, including the information shared and discussions to select the top accounts they believe to be most valuable for their readers to follow.
The Qualitative Report Community Coordinator and Social Media Director Adam Rosenthal manages @T_Q_R, tweeting the latest news from The Qualitative Report and the world of qualitative research. @T_Q_R currently has over 1,600 followers and the journal itself has over 6,700 subscribers plus over 1,500 friends on Facebook.
TQR was founded in 1990 by Ronald Chenail, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS). The journal is the oldest online, open-access multidisciplinary qualitative research journal in the world and is edited by Chenail.
Chenail is also the director of the Graduate Certificate in Qualitative Research in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) at SHSS. The graduate certificate is designed to prepare academics, professional research consultants, and graduate students to understand a variety of qualitative research approaches and to conduct qualitative research studies.
