SHSS Student Publishes Article on Transformational Narratives in The History Files




Niki Incorvia, M.A.


Niki Incorvia, M.A. a doctoral student in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) had an article published in The History Files, an online center for scholars, researchers, students. Incorvia’s article, entitled, “Transformational Narratives: A Context within History,” examined three sixteenth century monarchs using a transformational narrative model. She conducted the research and writing as part of a practicum project mentored by Richard Toumey, M.F.A.

Incorvia holds a B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia and a. M.A. in Political Science from Long Island University at Brooklyn. She plans to research religious conflicts in Europe during the Sixteenth Century as well as England’s break from the Catholic Church for her dissertation.
