SHSS Student is Public Policy Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin
Larry Schooler, a student in the M.S. program in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) was selected as a Public Policy Fellow at the Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution in the School of Law at the University of Texas at Austin. The Fellows program is designed to assemble a group of experienced professionals in public policy and provide additional training and experience in the resolution of public policy disputes so they can serve as a resource for various Texas government entities.
Schooler works with the City of Austin as their Community Engagement Consultant. This position was created in 2009 and he is the first person to hold the position. He is involved in collaboratively addressing community issues with the public and facilitating greater public participation in government.
