SHSS Student Presents at International Conference on Violence in the Health Sector
Jennifer Cittadino, MSN, APRN, BC, a doctoral student in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), presented a paper at the Third International Conference on Violence in the Health Sector in Vancouver, Canada. Cittadino’s presentation was entitled,” Blame it on the Nurse! Structural Violence in Healthcare.” Her paper is being published as an article by the conference.
Cittadino earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Thomas Edison State College and her M.S.N. from Monmouth University. Her APRN experience is in Pain Management and Adult Health. Cittadino has been a nurse for over thirty years and is currently an assistant professor in the College of Nursing at NSU.
