Nate Berger

Nate Berger

Nate Berger, master’s student in the College Student Affairs program in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in NSU’s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences has started his new employment as the program manager for engaged learning and research at Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University.

Prior to his current position, Berger was the graduate assistant for leadership development and Razor’s Edge at NSU. Berger said of his experience as a graduate assistant at NSU: “The NSU graduate assistant experience allows you to have autonomy to act in a professional role. You are given responsibility and depended on in order to help the division of student affairs function to the best of its ability. Both professionals and fellow GA’s throughout the division are always willing to offer assistance and support.”

Berger received his bachelor’s degree in Policy Studies and Political Science from Syracuse University. While he was there, he was a learning community resident advisor and a mentor resident advisor. Berger anticipates completing his master’s degree in College Student Affairs this spring.
