SHSS Program in College Student Affairs Launches Case Study Working Group


Students in the M.S. in College Student Affairs (CSA) program in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) have launched a new working group called the Case Study Working Group. The goal of the group is to enhance the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully participate in case study competitions typically held at NASPA- Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education Conferences. Students in CSA have participated in these competitions and wanted to further develop their skills.

The advisors to the group are Jake Shilts, M.S., and Gay Holliday, Ed.D., Ass

ociate Dean of Student Services in the Office of Student Affairs and an adjunct professor in the program. Shilts is a graduate of the CSA program and the Practicum Coordinator for students in DMS and DCAR. Shilts also holds the office of Knowledge Community Chair in NASPA-Florida.
