The Qualitative Report 2nd Annual Conference, sponsored by the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) with the participation of Dean Honggang Yang, was held at Nova Southeastern University on January 7 and 8, 2011.  The theme of this year’s conference was “Researching Identity and Identifying Researchers.” Conference presenters arrived from across the US and from many countries, including Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, Israel, Jamaica, and Japan.  Registrations rose 30% over the TQR Inaugural Conference held in January 2010, and comprised a sold-out conference.  In addition, the conference was expanded from one day last year to a day and a half this year.
