SHSS Hosts Internship Fair and Honors Lydia Acosta

On May 6, the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), hosted an Internship Fair for students preparing to enter the internship sites. The event provided students and site supervisors to connect and promoted a professional networking opportunity for attendees.
During the Fair, the Special Recognition Award was presented to Lydia Acosta, vice president for Information Services and university librarian. The award indicated:
“NSU’s Graduate School of Humanities & Social Sciences gratefully acknowledges Vice President Lydia Acosta for your enduring support for student learning and campus engagement. Our students, colleagues, alumni, and community partners are appreciative of your concerted leadership efforts, and looking forward to our continued collaborations in the years to come.”
