SHSS Faculty and Students Present Workshops on Communication and Negotiation
Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) and two doctoral students, Nancy Pattarini and Nadine Pierre-Louis, recently presented a workshop entitled, “The Power of Interest-Based Negotiations” for the Wayne County teacher contract negotiation teams in Rochester, N.Y.
Katz and Pierre-Louis also presented two workshops entitled, “Interest-Based Negotiations: Strategies and Skills,” “Emotional Intelligence,” and “Communication Styles and Dealing with Differences,” for the National Forum of Black Public Administrators held at the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
