SHSS Faculty and Student Present at IOSSBR Conference in Atlantic City

Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) and DCAR doctoral student Linda Flynn gave two presentations at the conference for the International Organization of Social Science and Behavioral Research (IOSSBR) held in Atlantic City, during Apr. 22-25. Their presentation focused on their NSU Quality of Life Grant research and was entitled, “Workplace Conflict, Strategies and Systems in Broward County.”  They also presented a workshop entitled, “Conflict Management Principles and Skills.”

Katz teaches courses including Negotiation Theory and Practice, Organizational Conflict Intervention, and The Reflective Practitioner: Consulting Conflict and Change in Organizational Settings with Leaders in Organizational Conflict: A Four Frame Approach.
