SHSS Faculty Member Discusses Restorative Justice and ADR at Keiser University
Judith McKay, J.D. Ph.D., chair of the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) and director of Community Resolution Services (CRS) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) was recently an invited guest speaker at Keiser University. McKay addressed students and faculty in the Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies programs.
The title of her presentation was: “Restorative Justice and Alternative Dispute Resolution: Creating New Paradigms for Addressing Individual and Social Change.” McKay also discussed ways in which community members can help generate social capital and enhanced trust in order to create community collaborations to address social justice issues.
