SHSS Faculty Member Publishes Book on the Nature of Genocidal Intent
Jason J. Campbell, Ph.D., faculty member in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) at the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), has published a book entitled, The Nature of Genocidal Intent. Published by Lexington Books, the book provides a conceptual analysis of the nature of genocidal intent. The analysis offers particular insight into the processes of genocide and mass extermination.
Campbell’s teaching and research interests include genocide studies and prevention, the problem of evil, state-endorsed mass extermination, international war and the theoretical understanding of exclusionary ideologies. Campbell is the executive director and founder of the Institute for Genocide Awareness and Applied Research (IGAAR).
