SHSS Faculty Publishes Article on Qualitative Research Generalizability
Ronald Chenail, Ph.D., faculty in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), published an article in the Journal of Ethnographic and Qualitative Research. The article is entitled: “Getting Specific about Qualitative Research Generalizability,” and addresses the conflict in the field regarding generalizability and offers useful strategies for qualitative researchers.
Chenail is also the Program Director of the Qualitative Research Graduate Certificate in the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in SHSS. The graduate certificate is designed to prepare academics, professional research consultants, and graduate students to understand a variety of qualitative research approaches and to conduct qualitative research studies.
