SHSS Faculty Publish Book on Conflict Resolution and The Scholarship of Engagement

Several faculty members from the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) collaborated on a book entitled, “Conflict Resolution and the Scholarship of Engagement.”

DCAR faculty who contributed chapters to the book, which was published by Cambridge Scholars, include: Elena Bastidas, Ph.D., Dustin Berna, Ph.D., Jason Campbell, Ph.D., Cheryl Duckworth, Ph.D., Alexia Georgakopoulos, Ph.D., Toran Hansen, Ph.D., Neil Katz, Ph.D., Judith McKay, Ph.D., Ismael Muvingi, Ph.D., Claire Michele Rice, Ph.D., and Dean and Professor Honggang Yang, Ph.D.

Others who co-authored chapters with several DCAR faculty include DCAR doctoral alumnus Steven Hawkins, Ph.D., James Hibel, Ph.D., Tommie Boyd, Ph.D., Larry Rice, Ed.D., and DCAR doctoral candidate Consuelo Kelley. The book was edited by Duckworth and Kelley. As Duckworth indicated, DCAR, “…values a democratic, egalitarian view of knowledge production and is committed to community partnerships.”
