SHSS Faculty Presents on The Reflective Peacebuilder in New Orleans
Mary Hope Schwoebel, Ph.D., faculty in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in NSU’s Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), recently presented at the 2015 International Studies Association (ISA) Conference held in New Orleans. The conference theme was “Global IR and Regional Worlds.” Schwoebel’s presentation was titled: “The Reflective Peacebuilder: Policy-makers, Practitioners, Activists, and Academics in a Donor Driven Field.”
Schwoebel’s areas of interest include peacebuilding and statebuilding, peacebuilding and development, gender and conflict, culture and conflict, and the interactions between indigenous systems of governance and conflict resolution and international interventions.
