SHSS Faculty Presents at the National Forum of Black Public Administrators
Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), was a featured speaker at the National Forum of Black Public Administrators held in Syracuse, NY, Nov. 15-16, 2012. Katz, who also helped coordinate the two day conference, facilitated workshops entitled, “Emotional Intelligence,” “Communication Styles,” and “Interest-based Negotiations.”
Katz teaches courses which include Negotiation Theory and Practice, Organizational Conflict Intervention, and The Reflective Practitioner: Consulting Conflict and Change in Organizational Settings with Leaders in Organizational Conflict: A Four Frame Approach.
