SHSS Faculty Presents on Interest-based Negotiation at the International Studies Association Conference
Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), presented at the International Studies Association (ISA) Annual Conference held in San Francisco. The theme of the conference was, “The Politics of International Diffusion: Regional and Global Dimensions.” Katz’ presentation was entitled, “Interest-based Negotiations.” He also served as a discussant for a panel presentation on “Negotiating Peace.”
Katz teaches courses which include Negotiation Theory and Practice, Organizational Conflict Intervention, and The Reflective Practitioner: Consulting Conflict and Change in Organizational Settings with Leaders in Organizational Conflict: A Four Frame Approach.
