SHSS Faculty Presents at ACR and Maine Municipal Association Conference

Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) participated in a panel discussion at the Association for Conflict Resolution’s Annual Conference in New Orleans. The panel was entitled, “Conflict Resolution in Higher Education:  State of the Field.”

Katz was also a featured speaker at the Maine Municipal Association’s Annual Conference in Augusta on Oct. 3. The conference had more than 300 participants from across the state. Katz’s presentations were entitled, “Moving from ‘No’ to ‘Yes’,” and “Influencing with Integrity.”
