SHSS Faculty Member Presents at PCA/ACA Conference in Chicago
McKay’s presentation was entitled: “Lessons from our Elders regarding Life, Conflict and Change.” It featured the use of a time-line to help understand how cultural, political, and other events had an impact on popular thought and perceptions from 1910-2010. Her presentation was a part of a panel facilitated by Frederick Augustyn, Jr. of the Library of Congress.
McKay’s research and teaching interests include organizational conflict and change, public policy, family violence, strategic community planning, and crisis intervention. She is also the director of Community Resolution Services (CRS), which offers a variety of services to the local community including training, workshops, consultation, conflict coaching, and conflict resolution intervention.
