SHSS Faculty Member serves as Editor of new Peacebuilding journal
Mark Davidheiser, Ph.D., faculty in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) is a founding editor of the new journal, African Conflict and Peacebuilding Review published by the University of Indiana Press. He also serves as the Briefings Editor. Other founding editors come from Northern Illinois University, University of Tennessee, American University, and University of Missouri. Davidheiser co-authored the article, “African Conflict in Global Perspective” in the first volume.
Davidheiser is the founder and director of the Africa Peace and Conflict Network (APCN). APCN is an association of individuals and institutions dedicated to advancing positive peace in Africa through knowledge generation and dissemination and praxis. APCN is a partner with the West African Research Association and the University of Indiana Press to produce the new journal. He is also the faculty advisor to the Culture and Conflict Group at SHSS.
