SHSS Faculty and Students Present at the ACR Annual Conference
Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), recently presented a workshop at the Association for Conflict Resolution’s Annual Conference. The conference was held at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hotel and the theme was, “Many Notes, One Symphony: Conflict Engagers in Harmony.”
The presentation was entitled, Enhancing Organizational Conflict Consulting Effectiveness: Utilizing Multiple Frames and Reframing.” Katz’s co-presenters were DCAR doctoral students, Betsy Bell, Niesha Jones and Katherine Sosa. Katz teaches courses including human factors, negotiation theory and practice and organizational conflict intervention.
