SHSS Faculty and Student Publish Article in Conflict Resolution Quarterly
Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), and DCAR doctoral candidate Linda Flynn published an article in the Summer 2013 volume of the journal, Conflict Resolution Quarterly. The article, “Understanding Conflict Management Systems and Strategies in the Workplace: A Pilot Study,” was based on the research project conducted by Katz and Flynn and funded by a Quality of Life grant.
Katz teaches courses including Negotiation Theory and Practice, Organizational Conflict Intervention, and The Reflective Practitioner: Consulting Conflict and Change in Organizational Settings with Leaders in Organizational Conflict: A Four Frame Approach. Flynn is the president and founder of The Tara Group, a provider of services, including training, research and evaluation for organizations and government agencies.
