SHSS Faculty Member and Alumna Publish Book Chapter on Qualitative Strategies in Assessment
Ronald Chenail, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), published a chapter in the book, Family Assessment: Contemporary sand Cutting-Edge Strategies, 2nd Edition, which was edited by Len Sperry, M.D., Ph.D.
The chapter, written with Maureen Duffy, Ph.D., is entitled: “Qualitative Strategies in Couple and Family Assessment.”
Duffy, an alumna of SHSS, is a practicing family therapist and an adjunct instructor in the Qualitative Research Graduate Certificate program at the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in SHSS.
Chenail is the program director of the Qualitative Research Graduate Certificate program. The graduate certificate is designed to prepare academics, professional research consultants, and graduate students to understand a variety of qualitative research approaches and to conduct qualitative research studies.
