SHSS Faculty and Alumna publish article in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy
Ronald Chenail, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), published an article in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy entitled, “Clients’ Relational Conceptions of Conjoint Couple and Family Therapy Quality: A Grounded Formal Therapy Theory.” The article was written with Sally St. George, Ph.D., Dan Wulff, Ph.D., Maureen Duffy, Ph.D., Karen Scott Wilson, Ph.D., and Karl Tomm, M.D.
Duffy, St. George and Wulff are adjunct instructors in the Qualitative Research Graduate Certificate program at the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies (DMS) in SHSS. Duffy, an alumna of SHSS, is a practicing family therapist and St. George and Wulff are associate professors at the University of Calgary.
Chenail is the program director of the Qualitative Research Graduate Certificate (QRGC) program. The graduate certificate is designed to prepare academics, professional research consultants, and graduate students to understand a variety of qualitative research approaches and to conduct qualitative research studies.
