SHSS Faculty and Alum Contribute to Conflict Resolution Book

Neil Katz, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), and Jason Campbell, Ph.D., assistant professor in the department, contributed chapters to a new book entitled, Critical Issues in Peace and Conflict Studies.

 Katz’ chapter was entitled, “Milestones on a Journey in Peace and Conflict Studies.” Campbell was the co-author of a chapter entitled, “Ripeness, Readiness, and Grief in Conflict Analysis.”

One of the editors of the book was DCAR doctoral graduate Thomas Matyok, Ph.D. Matyok is an assistant professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to co-editing the book, Matyok also co-authored a chapter entitled, “Where Do We Go From Here?”
