SHSS Doctoral Student Founds Family Center
Eshanda James, doctoral student in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), has founded a not-for-profit organization, the Joseph C. Watts Family Center and Research Institute, Inc. Located in Jacksonville, Fla., this new organization focuses on the needs of families and children in the community and promotes research.
James is a Florida Supreme Court certified county mediator and a certified Guardian Ad Litem in the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville.
