SHSS CSA Program and Dean Brad Williams Host Panel with Senior Student Affairs Officers

The College of Student Affairs Program in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) and the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs recently featured a panel of Senior Student Affairs Administrators and Officers on NSU’s main campus as part of Residential Institute.

The topic of the panel was “Moving In and Moving Up in the Field of Student Affairs.” The panel was moderated and organized by Brad Williams, Ed.D., NSU dean of Student Affairs. Participants included: Maria Luisa Alvarez, Ph.D., associate vice president for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at Barry University; Angelina Millender, M.S., vice president of Student Affairs and Enrollment at Broward College; Corey King, Ed.D., associate vice president and dean of Student Affairs at Florida Atlantic University; Mary Williams, Ph.D., vice president for Student Affairs at Florida Memorial University; Jeffery Thomas, Ph.D., dean of Academic and Student Affairs at Miami Dade College; Shari Sapertein, M.A., director of Career Development at NSU; and Ricardo Hall, Ed.D., dean of Students at the University of Miami.

There were approximately 50 students in the attendance from the M.S. Program in College Student Affairs in SHSS, as well as Associate Dean Gay Holliday, Ed.D. Both Williams and Holliday teach in the CSA program.
