SHSS Alum/Student Awarded Dissertation Fellowship by Social Science Research Council
Aniuska Luna, M.A., doctoral candidate in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) was awarded a Dissertation Proposal Development Fellowship in Discrimination Studies by the Social Science Research Council.
Luna is a graduate of the Master of Arts in Cross-disciplinary Studies (MACS) in SHSS. She has served as a Graduate Assistant and has worked with faculty in coordinating two international study opportunities to Ecuador and Suriname. She was born in Cuba and is interested in historical discrimination and notions of “the other.”
