SHSS Alums Work to Help Abused and Neglected Children
Mark Mayers, M.S., LMFT, CAP and his wife Darlene Depkin Mayers, M.S., LMFT, both graduates of the master’s program in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) are staff at the Real Life Children’s Ranch in Okeechobee, Fla. Mark is the Executive Director and Darlene is the Community Relations Director. Both have extensive experience as family therapists and graduated from their SHSS program in 1994.
Real Life Children’s Ranch is a not-for-profit group organization that provides family style group homes for children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected.
