SHSS Alum becomes Senior Vice President of Operations for Health Solutions at CIGNA
Jodi Aronson Prohofsky, Ph.D.
Jodi Aronson Prohofsky, Ph.D., a doctoral graduate in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), is now Senior Vice President of Operations for Health Solutions business unit of CIGNA. She was named leader of a Clinical Leadership Team featuring national medical directors charged with the growth of the Care Advocacy Program.
Aronson Prohofsky is the author of two books on managed care: The Dictionary of Managed Behavioral Health Care: ‘A’ is for Access, and Inside Managed Care. Prior to her current position, she was the Vice President of Quality and Compliance; Assistant Vice President of Clinical Administration; and Director of CIGNA’s Tampa Regional Care Center.
