Susanna Bertuna Reynoso, Ph.D.

Susanna Bertuna Reynoso, Ph.D., doctoral graduate of the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), is a co-author of the 2014 article, “MAPCID: A Model for the Analysis of Potential Conflict in Development,” published in the Journal of Conflict Management. The other authors are Gwendolyn Smith, Ph.D., Gina Marie Michand, M.S., and Pamela Kay Struss, Ph.D., all graduates of DCAR.

Reynoso was recently been hired by Operation Sacred Trust as an Enrollment/Conflict Resolution Specialist. Operation Sacred Trust works in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties with homeless veterans. Regarding her work, Reynoso said it is “A most gratifying job where I get to acknowledge a veteran at a time and make a difference every day in people’s lives.”

In addition to her doctoral degree from NSU, Reynoso holds an MBA from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York and a BS in Economics with a minor in Marketing from the College of Staten Island.
