SHSS Alum appointed Director of Family Therapy Clinical Training at Valdosta State University
Martha Laughlin, Ph.D., a master’s and doctoral graduate of the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) has been appointed Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Training in the Family Therapy Program at Valdosta State University, Georgia. Prior to coming to Valdosta four years ago, Laughlin worked in private practice, and served as the director of a short-term crisis unit for people with acute and chronic mental illness.
