SHSS Alum serves as Chief Clinical Officer at Gratitude House
Kaisha A. Thomas, Ph.D., graduate of the doctoral program in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) is the Chief Clinical Officer at Gratitude House in West Palm Beach.
Gratitude House was founded in 1968 and is a fully accredited Level II licensed treatment center for chemically dependent women. It is one of only two programs in Palm Beach County that allows infants from birth to nine months old to stay with their mothers who are in treatment. It also offers a residential program for chemically dependent women with HIV.
