Show Your Shark Pride LIVE on NBC6 TV
Students, faculty and staff are invited to come out and join Razor and RadioX to share their shark pride when NBC6 broadcasts live from the Don Taft University Center on Thursday, September 29, from 4 – 6:30 p.m. This is the fourth year that the Miramar-based station has chosen to feature NSU is its annual College Week series.
Students at the live broadcast, to be held in the lobby by the shark fountain, should wear their shark gear and be ready to show enthusiasm for their college. Expect to see yourself on LIVE TV!!! Photos will be shared on social media with a special hashtag, #NSUonNBC6.
NBC6 anchors Jawan Strader and Jackie Nespral will be conducting live interviews with Athletic Director Mike Mominey and Greg Brown, head coach of NSU’s baseball team — NCAAA Division II National Champions.
Throughout the newscast, viewers will have the chance to learn more about the university through feature stories on NSU’s work with the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation program; the NSU Cell Therapy Institute and its new approach to prevent and treat diseases like cancer, and how getting an M.B.A. program at our H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship can provide the foundation to start a successful business.
