Shepard Broad Law Center to Host Symposium on Energy Law and Policy, Feb. 7
Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Shepard Broad Law Center will host its annual national symposium entitled, Energy, Climate Disruption, and Sea Level Rise: New Directions in Law & Policy on Feb. 6 and 7. The two-day symposium will feature some of the nation’s most prominent academic experts in energy law and policy, highly regarded scientists with relevant expertise, and federal, state and local government officials with knowledge of the most recent pertinent changes in the law and policy.
NSU Law Center Professors Joel Mintz, J.D., Richard Grosso, J.D., and Brion Blackwelder, J.D., have collaborated to bring in experts whose topics will include climate disruption, sea level rise, and energy law and policy in the U.S. and how they affect our lives.
Energy, Climate Disruption, and Sea Level Rise: New Directions in Law & Policy

Location: Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel in Dania, FL.
CLE Hours: The Florida Bar has approved 13 CLE hours (general), including specific certification credit hours, for Florida attorneys. If you practice in the areas of environmental, land use, or state and local government law, or you represent clients in the real estate, energy, or insurance industry, you will want to attend this Symposium.
The Florida Bar approved 13 hours (general) CLE credits, including credits for Board Certified attorneys: 2 credits (City, County, and Local Government Law, International Law, and Real Estate) or 13 credits (State and Federal Government, and Administrative Practice).
